Welcome To Divine Mercy Province

Heralds of Good News is an indigenous Missionary Society, founded in Eluru Diocese in India in 1984; it became an Institute of Pontifical Right on May 5, 1999. The specific aim of the society is the promotion of vocations to priesthood, the training of seminarians and the supply of zealous and hardworking missionaries to the dioceses in India and abroad which experience a shortage of priests due to the lack of local vocations. Right from its inception, the society was sending missionaries to different countries.

Heralds of Good News Missionary Society was founded by Rev. Dr. Jose Kaimlett in 1984 with the approval and blessings of (Late) Rt. Rev. Dr. John Mulagada, Bishop of Eluru. It was in june 1984 that Fr. Jose Kaimlett resigned his charge as the headmaster of St. Ambrose School, Nidadavole and took up the construction of Fr. Jose Memorial Hospital at Vellachinthalagudem. It was during this time that Bishop John gave him the go-ahead to found the Society and allowed him to contact like-minded priests.

Prayer to St. Maria Faustina

“Be Merciful, Just As your Father is Merciful” (LK 6:36)

Lord, our Merciful Father, We praise you, thank you and glorify your holy name, Lord, for the gift of our Missionary Society of “Heralds of Good News” as your own holy instrument of heralding your good news wherever there is need. In particular, we thank you for our “Divine Mercy Province” and for all the blessings and graces you give to it and to each of us individually. We have merited nothing but, in your mercy, you give us everything.

Help us as a community to grow together in harmony, love and service. Send us ardent young men for training to be worthy priests. May they respond with generosity and humility to your calling. Your holy church on earth is crying out for more priests to care for your children, to celebrate at your altars, and to be enthusiastic and eloquent preachers of your word, we need your gracious help without which we cannot succeed.

Bless our Missionaries, Benefactors, Family Members and Well Wishers throughout the world and protect them with your most powerful hands from all dangers and perils.

We pray to Saint Maria Faustina, our powerful Patroness, who heard the words “Ask for my help and I Will help you”. We earnestly place our trust in the same words and ask you, dear saint, to intercede for us and to join in our prayer.

St. Maria Faustina, pray for us and the whole world.

—————- Amen.
